Cedar Covered Bridge

The Cedar Bridgehas been rebuilt twice from its original build.

First, it was destroyed by arson in 2002 and was rebuilt in 2004. Then again in 2017, it was destroyed by fire. This time they found those who were at fault.

The bridge was once again rebuilt in 2019. This was the last covered bridge to have vehicles drive through it.

Although it has been moved once, its current location still resides over the same creek, Cedar Creek.

Hogback Covered Bridge

The Hogback Bridge, built long ago in 1884, still sits in its original location.

Its name comes from a nearby limestone ridge and it is created with lattice truss bridges.

Cutler-Donahoe Covered Bridge

The Cutler-Donahoe Bridge is a smaller covered bridge that once sat over the North River, but now has retired and can be found at the entrance of the Winterset City Park.
