It comes with a great running 2008 50 HP MERCURY EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) 4-STROKE Motor with Power Trim and Tilt on it that is in Excellent Condition. All of the EFI 4-Stroke Motors are widely known to be the best outboard motors ever made. They are much quicker and easier to start, run a lot quieter, smoother and cleaner and get much much better gas mileage than the older carbureted 2-stroke and 4-stroke motors. The EFI outboard motors do not have chokes (that often flood engines) and they don't have any carburetors, which frequently get fouled up and dirty over the years. Cleaning and rebuilding carburetors have been one of the most common and expensive repair costs for many used motors for many years. This motor was recently checked out, tuned up and serviced by my Marine Mechanic. He changed the oil filter and motor oil as well as the grease in the lower unit at the same time. This boat was in a lake and in use this summer and it was running really well all summer long. This boat and motor were both originally manufactured in 2008; and this motor has been on this boat since they were both new. Please Note: This boat and motor have never been rented out.
Also Note: I took it for a couple of long rides around the big lake I live on and that was where and when I took all of these photos on September 24th and 25th of 2024. It started right up and ran exceptionally well both days!
